What is Shift Monitor?

How to Access Shift Monitor

  1. Log into Mero Control Center

  2. Click on Cleaning Performance in the left menu

  3. Select Shift Monitor (look for the "New" badge)

Understanding Status Badges

Badge

What It Means

Working (green)

Cleaner is on shift and beacon is active

No-Show (red)

Cleaner should have clocked in but hasn't been detected

Inactive (gray)

Not currently on shift

Upcoming (blue)

Shift starts later today

What Does "No-Show" Mean?

If you see a red "No-Show" badge with a message like "Should have clocked in at 7:00 AM", it means:

  • The cleaner's shift was scheduled to start

  • The system hasn't detected their beacon yet

  • There may be a Replace Beacon button if the beacon needs to be swapped

What Does "Shift hasn't started yet" Mean?

If you see this message in the Today's Path area, it means:

  • Your scheduled shift time hasn't begun yet, OR

  • The system hasn't detected your beacon yet

Make sure your beacon is turned on and you're in a location with sensors.

Visit Duration Indicators

In the Today's Path table, you may see small colored dots next to duration times:

  • Orange dot – Short visit (may need review)

  • No dot – Normal visit duration

Tips for Cleaners

  1. Check your status at the start of each shift to make sure you're showing as "Working"

  2. Keep your beacon on you throughout your shift so the system can track your progress

  3. If your beacon shows as Offline, let your supervisor know right away

  4. Stay in each area for at least a minute so the sensors can register your visit

Tips for Supervisors

  1. Check the Issues tab at the start of shifts to catch problems early

  2. Use the Swap button to quickly replace a beacon that isn't working

  3. Click on a cleaner to see their detailed path and verify coverage

  4. Use the date picker to review past shifts if needed
