Structuring Your Properties: Campuses & Buildings

Learn how to organize your properties by grouping them into Campuses for efficient management.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

A clean and logical structure is the foundation of your Mero setup. The platform uses a simple hierarchy: Campuses contain Buildings, which in turn contain floors and individual locations.

What is a Campus?

A Campus is a collection of one or more buildings that you want to link together.

The most important reason to use a campus is to manage shared resources. If you have cleaners or other staff members who work across multiple buildings, grouping those buildings into a single campus is essential. This allows you to create shifts and assign work that spans all the properties within that campus.

If a building has a completely separate staff that does not work at other locations, it should be placed in its own, separate campus.

How to Manage Campuses and Buildings

  1. Navigate to Settings in the bottom-left menu.

  2. Select the Buildings tab.

  3. Click the Add New button on the right-hand side.

  4. From here, you can add a new Campus, Building, Floor, or Location. It's best to start by creating a Campus first, and then add a Building to it.

  5. For bulk uploads, you can also use the Import tool to add your properties from a CSV file.

From the main Buildings screen, you can also click on an existing building to edit its details, manage its floors, and configure building-specific settings.
