Overview

The Timelog tab on the Cleaning Overview screen offers a live, real-time view of where cleaners are for a particular day. This feature provides a comprehensive look into the activities of your cleaning staff, helping you ensure that all scheduled tasks are completed and identify any discrepancies. Below are the key use cases and how to navigate this tab effectively.

Viewing and Filtering Timelog Activities

First, ensure that the correct building is selected by clicking the building dropdown on the top right hand side. If your building is made up of campuses, you'll find a breakdown of the individual buildings on this filter.

Once you have selected the building you wish to see, you can select various filters to narrow down the timelog data:

Cleaner’s Name: Choose a specific cleaner to view their activities.

Date: Select the date you want to review.

Floors and Locations: Filter by specific floors or locations.

Types of Activities: Choose from different types of activities, such as:

• Refill Confirmed

• Visit Confirmed (the cleaner was scheduled to be there)

• Unscheduled Visits (the cleaner was not scheduled to be there)

These filters help you focus on particular aspects of the cleaner’s performance and activities.

Viewing Timelog Details and Activities

When viewing a cleaner, you'll notice that we let you know of the first time the cleaner was found on site, the time they were seen last, as well as their activity in 30 minute intervals.

Key details include:

First Ping Detected: The first time the cleaner was detected with the beacon. For example, if the first ping is at 4:03 a.m., but the shift was supposed to start at 4:00 a.m., the cleaner may have started late.

Last Ping Detected: The last time the cleaner was detected in a certain area. For instance, if the last ping is at 4:39 a.m., but the shift ends at 7:01 a.m., the cleaner may have left early.

Half-Hour Increments: The timelog displays the locations visited by the cleaner in half-hour increments. For example, you could see that from 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m., the cleaner was in the parking garage, the visit was unscheduled, and the cleaner stayed for five minutes.

This granular view helps you track the cleaner’s movements and ensure all areas are covered as planned.

Unscheduled Visits vs Confirmed Visits

In the timelog, we use Unscheduled Visits and Confirmed Visits to let you know whether or not the cleaner visited that area.

Unscheduled Visit: The cleaner went to a location where they did not have an assigned task for that shift.

Visit Confirmed: The cleaner was detected in a location where they had an assigned task (scope of work).

Exporting Timelog Data

At the top of the timelog screen, you can use the export button to download the timelog data in a CSV format. This allows you to keep records and analyze the data outside the application.
