Communicate the value of your dynamic cleaning program

Updated over a week ago

Summary:

The building report provides a comprehensive overview of your cleaning program. The building report is broken down into two parts, the heatmap and building table. You can access this page by clicking on "Home" on the left sidebar:

Understanding the Building Table

  • The building table contains information on building occupancy as well as how your cleaners are performing.

  • The building as well as time period displayed can be modified using the filters at the top of the building report.

  • The first row labeled “All Floors” is an aggregate of all floors in the selected building. Metrics such as Confirmed Visits and Complaints are taken as an average of all floors in the area.

  • The check and exclamation icons indicate whether or not that particular area or metric needs attention. Hovering over the exclamation mark displays more details on what may need to be corrected.

  • Below is a breakdown of the columns available in the building report. You can see all the columns available by clicking on "Edit Columns".

  • You can select which columns you would like displayed, as well as customize the order by dragging columns around. Any columns you do not have access to (for example, if you do not have any occupancy sensors, you will not be able to see the total number of people), it will be greyed out.

    • Confirmed Visits: The number of confirmed visits by cleaners on each floor. Visits and tasks status’ can be found in the staffing page.

    • Complaints: The number of complaints found in that area over time. More information on complaints can be found in the adding complaints section.

    • Average Visit: The average time duration of a confirmed visit.

    • Space Utilization Per Clean: If Mero’s traffic sensors are installed, this will show how busy the floor is in between cleanings. If the floor is marked as “High”, this means that cleaning frequency likely needs to be adjusted to account for the traffic in the space.

    • Number of People (Total): If Mero’s traffic sensors are installed, this will show how many entries occurred for each floor based on the filters applied.

    • Number of People (Average): If Mero’s traffic sensors are installed, this will show the average amount of entries per day based on the date filter applied.

    • Cleaner(s) assigned: The cleaners that are assigned to clean that space.

    • Status: If one or more metrics in that floor requires attention, then Action Required will be displayed. Otherwise, “All Good” will appear in the column for the affected floor.

    • Number of Refills: If Mero's consumable sensors are installed, this will show the number of refills completed for each location

    • Time to Refill: If Mero's consumable sensors are installed, this will show the average number of minutes it takes for a refill to be completed

Viewing Heatmaps and Trends

Using the Occupancy Heatmap

  • The occupancy heatmap located on the top of the building report allows users to see occupancy trends in their building averaged by time

    • This means that the “3PM” square would be an average of the occupancy from the hours of 3PM and 4PM in that building’s timezone.

  • To see occupancy trends over a certain period of time or building, managers can adjust the graph using the filters on the top of the page

  • Hovering over any square will display the average count as well

  • Darker squares mean that more people have been in that area while lighter squares mean fewer people have been in that area

Tip: If no data appears for a certain floor, it could mean that traffic data is not available for that location. Reach out to your account manager for more information.

Exporting your building report:

  • You can export your building report at any time by hitting the “Download” button on the top right side of the screen

  • You can customize your report before export by using the filters to the left of the share button.

Adding Complaints

  • The Mero system tracks complaints related to cleaning in certain areas

  • Complaint data is shown in the building table on the Building Report.

  • To add a complaint, navigate to the Building Report and hit Add Complaint.

    • A dialog box appears asking you to input the level or floor that the complaint(s) occurred, the date and the number of complaints that appeared over that time period.

    • Hit Save to save the complaint data or Cancel to discard the form.

Note: Modifying or removing complaint data is not yet supported, please fill out a support ticket if you would like complaint data to be modified or removed.
