Measure task completion at a glance, customize how locations appear on displays, and stay compliant with new SMS consent requirements.

New Ways to Track Performance + More Control Over Your Displays

We're bringing you powerful new analytics to measure scope of work completion, flexible display options for Live Clean, and important compliance updates for SMS notifications.

These updates are now live in your Mero Control Center.

Track Scope of Work Completion in Core Analytics

Understanding whether your cleaning teams are completing their assigned tasks just got easier. We've added a new SOW Completion Percentage metric to Core Analytics.

What It Shows

This metric calculates the percentage of assigned tasks that were actually completed, giving you a clear picture of adherence to your scope of work.

How to Use It

  • Group by Building — Compare completion rates across your portfolio

  • Group by Floor — Identify problem areas within a building

  • Group by Location — Drill down to specific rooms or zones

  • Group by Cleaner — Spot training opportunities or recognize top performers

Where to find it: Core Analytics > Select "SOW Completion %" from the metric dropdown

Why This Matters

  • Quickly identify underperforming locations before tenants notice

  • Have data-driven conversations with cleaning teams

  • Track improvement over time with scheduled reports

Updated Export Limits: Day of Week reports now support up to 7 columns (previously 5). All other report types support 5 columns. These limits apply to both manual exports and scheduled email reports.

Customize How Locations Appear on Live Clean Displays

Different facilities have different naming conventions. Now you can control exactly how location names appear on your tenant-facing displays.

Three Display Options

  • Use Display Name — Show a custom name you define (e.g., "Executive Restroom")

  • Use Building/Floor/Location — Show the full hierarchy (e.g., "HQ - Floor 2 - Men's Restroom")

  • Use Floor and Location — Show a compact format (e.g., "Floor 2 - Men's Restroom")

Where to find it: Settings > Buildings > Live Clean Settings > Title Display Format

New: Export Your Locations to CSV

Need to create custom stickers or integrate with another system? Export your Live Clean locations to CSV with one click.

What's included: Building, Floor, Location, Display Name, Status, and QR Code URL

Where to find it: Live Clean > Export to CSV button

Additional Live Clean Improvements

  • Display Name column now visible in the Live Clean list view for easier management

  • Updated QR code stickers — Cleaner design with no orange border around your logo and bolder "Powered by Mero" text

  • Real-time team task updates — Team tasks now appear on displays immediately (previously could take up to 16 hours)

Filter Your Cleaning Calendar by Visit Type

The Cleaning Activity Calendar now lets you filter by the type of visit, so you can focus on exactly the activity that matters to you.

Available Filters

  • Standard — Regular cleaning visits

  • Persistent — Extended visits where brief signal gaps were bridged together

  • Transient — Brief visits under 2 minutes

  • Break Room — Time spent in designated break areas

  • Abandoned Beacon — Visits from beacons no longer assigned to active cleaners

Where to find it: Calendar View > Visit Types filter

Your selected filter applies to both the calendar view and any PDF or CSV exports you generate.

Clearer Location Names in Shift View

When you have locations with identical names on different floors (like "Men's Restroom" on every floor), it was hard to tell them apart in Shift View.

What's Changed

Location names now include the floor as a prefix:

Before

After

Men's Restroom

Floor 1 - Men's Restroom

Women's Restroom

Floor 1 - Women's Restroom

Men's Restroom

Floor 2 - Men's Restroom

This makes it immediately clear which floor you're looking at when reviewing shift performance.

SMS Notification Consent (Compliance Update)

To comply with carrier regulations (A2P 10DLC), users must now provide consent before receiving SMS notifications.

What Users Will See

When enabling SMS notifications, users must check a consent box that reads:

"I agree to receive SMS notifications from Mero. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support."

The phone number field remains inactive until consent is provided. Links to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are included.

For Administrators

Users who haven't provided consent cannot receive SMS notifications. You can see consent status in the Users settings area.

Where to find it: Account Settings > Notifications > SMS Notifications

Location Summary: Clearer Traffic Data

The traffic column in Location Summary now distinguishes between two situations:

  • "N/A" — No traffic sensor is installed at this location

  • "0" — A traffic sensor is installed, but zero people were counted

This helps you understand whether an area truly had no visitors or whether you're simply missing traffic data.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed Reset button color state on Quality Control page (mobile view)

  • Improved error handling when duplicate beacons are detected in Cleaner settings

  • Fixed Import button state after page refresh in Buildings settings

  • Mobile sidebar now has a clear close mechanism (tap outside or use X button)

  • Corrected persistent visit time calculations across all organizations
