We understand that managing daily work can be complex, especially when dealing with staff absences or shifting priorities. Previously, tasks had to be assigned to individual cleaners, creating rigidity in your schedules. If a cleaner was out sick, their assigned tasks would be missed. Team Tasks is designed to solve this problem by making your scope of work more flexible, resilient, and easier to manage.
What are Team Tasks?
Team Tasks allows you to assign work to a group of cleaners rather than a single person. This creates a shared pool of tasks that any member of the team can complete, ensuring that critical work gets done no matter what.
With this new feature, you can now:
Create Custom Teams: Group cleaners into teams like 'Day Porters' or 'Night Crew' under the new 'Teams' tab in your Settings.
Assign Tasks to a Team: Schedule work for an entire team, ensuring coverage even if an individual cleaner is unavailable.
Assign by Location Type: Save time by creating a single task for all locations of a certain type (e.g., "Clean all Women's Washrooms 3 times per shift").
Set Detailed Requirements: Define the Frequency (how many times), Duration (how long each visit should be), and minimum Time Between Visits for each task.

Eliminate Coverage Gaps & Reduce Missed Cleans: A cleaner is out sick? No problem. With Team Tasks, their responsibilities are already shared with the team. Another team member can seamlessly pick up the task, ensuring your building's standards are always met and your scope of work is completed.
Simplify Scope of Work Creation: Stop creating dozens of identical tasks for individual locations. Need every washroom on floors 1-5 cleaned twice? Create one task assigned to the 'Washroom' location type for your Day Porter team, and you're done.
Enhance Accountability & Visibility: While tasks are shared, performance is still clear. The Shift View shows the team's overall progress, while the Cleaner Log specifies which individual completed a specific team task, giving you the best of both worlds: team collaboration and individual accountability.
