Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Sticker Printing Guide
If you prefer to manage printing yourself, you can use any online or local printing service. Here’s a general guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Download Your QR Code Files
From the Mero Live Clean dashboard, click the QR code icon (📱
) for each display you want to print. Download the file as a PNG. Make sure you save them in a folder where you can easily find them.
Step 2: Choose a Sticker Printing Service
There are many great online services available. You can search for "custom sticker printing" to find one that suits your budget. Some popular examples include:
Jukebox
Sticker Mule
Moo
Local print shops (like Staples, a UPS Store, or a regional printer)
Step 3: Select Your Sticker Options
When placing your order, you'll need to make a few choices.
Material: We highly recommend choosing a durable, waterproof vinyl material. These stickers will be placed in restrooms and high-traffic areas, so they need to withstand moisture and cleaning.
Size: A good, readable size is typically 3x4 inches or 4x4 inches. Measure the surface where you plan to place the sticker to ensure a good fit.
Shape: Since the downloaded file is a rectangle, choose a "Rectangle" or "Square" shape with standard or rounded corners.
Step 4: Upload Your Files (Important!)
This is the most critical step. Each QR code you download from Mero is unique and links to a specific washroom's live data.
You must upload each unique QR code PNG file separately.
You cannot upload one file and order 50 copies if you need stickers for 50 different locations. This would result in 50 identical stickers that all point to the same washroom.
When ordering, most services will require you to upload each unique PNG file as a separate design or line item in your cart. If you are ordering for many locations, check if the printing service offers an easier way to upload multiple unique designs, or contact their customer support for assistance with a bulk order.
Best Practices for Sticker Placement
Test First: If you're unsure about a printing service or sticker material, order a single test sticker before placing a large order.
Clean the Surface: Before applying the sticker, make sure the surface (e.g., back of a door, wall, mirror corner) is clean and dry for the best adhesion.
Place for Visibility: Position the sticker where it is easy to see and scan, around eye level for the average person.
